Question: Afari (Ghana)
Pastor Sir, my question is from Hebrew 9:16. From that scripture, I am able to tell that Jesus is the testator of the New Testament. Could you please enlighten me on who the testator of the Old Testament is?
From Hebrews 8:5, it says, “Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacles; for see saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises”. So Moses is the mediator of the Old one while Jesus is for the New one. The difference is that in the place of the death of anyone, an animal died in his place.
